Richard Lehner

Mountain Guide and Mountain Rescue Specialist.

Richi, was born and lives in Zermatt, he has extensive experience in mountain rescues in the European Alps and the Himalayas. In partnership with Danny Auftenblatten a helicopter pilot from Air Zermat, they performed the highest altitude "long-line" arial rescue in history, saving three Spanish climbers whom were perished on Nepal's Mount Annapurna. Richard and Danny received the very prestigious Aviation Weekly Heroism Award in March 2011.

Richi is a Director of Mountaineering for SteynWaters and leads our clients in corporate mountain events. He also presents to corporate executives and management teams about preparation and assessment of risks, which equally appliies to day to day business situations.
