A new, cool adventure, where you follow a mountain path down from Schwarzsee to the valley of Zermatt on a grown-up scooter equipped with fat off-road tires. The scooters are fitted with disc-brakes for extra safety.

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata, or ‘iron road’ is a mountain route which is equipped with fixed iron cables, ladders, bridges and footsteps. The path along the ‘iron cable’ makes otherwise inaccessible routes accessible for hikers and climbers. The routes should never be attempted without a Mountain guide.

Adults are required to wear proper hiking boots, helmets and a climbing harness (children should wear a full body harness) and attached you will have two short ropes in a Y formation with carabiners at the end. You secure yourself along the route with these two ropes and carabiners to the ‘iron cable’. You should never have less than one rope attached to the iron cable.

In Zermatt there are several Via Ferrata’s such as the Gorner Gorge and the ‘Schweifine’ above the town.
